Real estate started it all and seven generations later it’s still going strong! Johanna Fatheree was born and raised in Washington County, the place her family has called home since being hired by Stephen F. Austin to survey the land in the 1820s. After being granted 25,000 acres and settling with the original Old 300, her family has remained an integral part of the local community and Johanna is no exception. Johanna’s dedication and love for her community shine through in all that she does, from her work with the Chamber of Commerce to presiding over the Washington County Child Welfare Board for the past nine years; she takes great pride in her family heritage and in serving her community.
